Courage that has nothing to prove — the difference between real strength and the performance of it.
This rule started as a preference and turned out to be theologically correct, which is the best kind of accident. The roaring lion in Scripture is the adversary. And the Lion of Judah, at the moment he is actually shown, is a Lamb.

The rule that never bends
Always asleep or lying down. Never roaring, never crowned, never heraldic. Proverbs 30:30 is the posture — mightiest among beasts, and does not turn back before any. Stillness, not display.
